If the scratches arent too deep, buffing the tile with a gentle abrasive is usually enough to get rid of them. Combine 2 gallons of warm water with 14 cup liquid Castile soap in a bucket. Wet a sponge with the solution, and then wipe the scratched tile gently to remove any dirt and debris. Rinse with clean water and let dry. Dampen a cloth with scouring powder paste. Rub the paste into the scratched tile with small, circular motions. Allow the paste to set for five minutes, and then gently wipe it away with a soft bristle brush or nylon pad. Apply a dab of brass polish or non gel toothpaste to a clean cloth if the scratches remain. Rub the tile with the cloth using circular motions then rinse.
